I think I’m going to pick up a new ceiling light for our bedroom. The one we have now looks okay but it doesn’t really go with any of our furniture. My girlfriend has been talking about wanting to get a new light for a while so I think I’m going to pick one up and get it installed before she gets home from work one day soon.

The company that I work for recently added some Bush furniture dividers to some of their offices. Some employees don’t like the new arrangement and really would prefer to not work in cubicals, but I kind of like the change. Everyone has their own little space and privacy now, which is nice. They should have added these dividers a long time ago.

My girlfriend’s best friend won a brand new Jaeger LeCoultre watch last month at a big charity raffle. The raffle tickets were twenty bucks each and she purchased 5 of them. For her one hundred dollar investment, she won a watch that’s worth close to ten thousand dollars. There were a few hundred people at the raffle and lots of different companies donated items to be raffled off. A few people won brand new big screen plasma televisions. I kind of wish I would have went.

I would really like to take a vacation down to las Vegas. I’ve been checking out various Las Vegas hotels and I think we can afford it if we don’t blow a bunch of money gambling. Alot of people don’t realise that there is alot more to Las Vegas than just casinos and gambling. There are lots of shows and concerts going on all the time, not to mention sporting events and things like that.

I recently went to my 10 year high school reunion. It was so surprising how many people have been in and out of drug rehab. Some of the people you would have never expected to ever do drugs or anything have been in and out of drug and alcohol rehab for years. Even one of my best friends from school had been to rehab once.

Usually my boyfriend writes on this thing, but I’m going to start rambling about some things from time to time… starting with our new futon!

It was bound to happen that we get a futon for the apartment. My boyfriend has been using the sofa as a bed for the last few years and there was a giant hole where he lay to watch his football games. This futon is really great, we bought it from Walmart. We looked at a whole lot of other futons before finding this one. The others were not sturdy looking at all. This one got good customer reviews so we went for it. The tan color does not match with her decor but at least we can design around it.

An old friend of mine from college keeps trying to get me to invest into Arizona luxury real estate. I’m not sure if I really have enough money to be risking it on buying and selling real estate right now. He says it’s the easiest money he has ever made but I’m not sure if I really have the time or money to focus on it right now.

A friend of mine recently took a vacation and stayed at a nice little Hawaii bed and breakfast. I really enjoy staying at bed and breakfast spots. It’s a cozy little atmosphere and it really feels like home away from home. You don’t have to go out in the morning and drive around to get something to eat and the food is actually very good.

My girlfriend’s sister has been using that weight loss hoodia patch for a few months now. She says that she is really seeing great results and dropping pounds just as she hoped. I havent seen her in about 6 months. She lives in colorado and we don’t get to see her as often as my girlfriend would like. I might pay for her plane ticket so she can fly out here and surprise my girlfriend next month for thanksgiving.

I went to Sears yesterday to look at microwave ovens. Our old microwave just seems to be getting weak and it’s taking longer and longer to heat things up now. I didn’t end up buying a new one cause I thought i might get in trouble with my girlfriend for buying the wrong color or size or the wrong style of buttons or something.
