Dentemp OS for Temporary Repair of Caps and Fillings

Posted in Product Reviews, Health, Medical, Website Reviews on October 4th, 2007

Last month I was at work eating my lunch. I was halfway through my sandwich and I popped a couple of potatoe chips into my mouth, bit down and lost a cap off of one of my back teeth. I didn’t know it had even come lose until I bit down and felt excruciating pain radiating from the back of my mouth. I had no idea that the cap had come off until I almost choked on the thing. Luckily I was alone and nobody else saw what was happening. I would have been pretty embarrassed about the whole situation. I walked out of the break room and asked if anyone had any temporary dental repair material or anything that I could use to fix a loose cap. Nobody had anything at all. I had to take off of work and drive 30 minutes to the closest drug store to find something. I asked the pharmacist what he recommended for temporarily holding a cap on and he said everyone has had great luck with a product called Dentemp OS. I purchased some Dentemp, took it out to my car and was able to quickly repair my cap without having to mix anything or cause any big mess. It dried pretty quick and my cap felt like it wasn’t going anywhere. It actually held my cap on for nearly 3 more days and it’s made so you can eat on it. Every since that day I have kept a container of Dentemp OS in my desk at work and at my home.
