I need to get a new ceiling fan for my bedroom. The one I’ve had for about 10 years just doesn’t seem to be working or looking as great as it used to. I’ve been checking out ceiling fans online to see what kind of price I’m looking at. I’ve been pretty surprised at the reasonable prices that I’ve seen so far. I paid more for my current basic 3 speed ceiling fan 10 years ago than most decent newer modern ones cost today.

My girlfriend keeps asking me if we can take a trip to Disney Land. She has a 6 year old son from her pervious relationship and the kid pretty much looks at me like a father. His real dad never comes around and I do pretty much consider him to be my son. I’d like to find a decent deal on some Disney vacations packages and surprise them for Christmas if I can. A few friends of mine are trying to get me to go to Las Vegas before Christmas gets here, so I might endup taking 2 vacations before 2008 is over.

A few friends of mine are talking about taking a little road trip out to Las Vegas before Christmas gets here. They actually wanted to go out there for Halloween, but that’s a bit of a short notice for me to take off work and all that good stuff. My friend said he found a deal on a nice Las Vegas hotel for around Christmas time and we could get a great price through a travel agent he knows out there. I’d like to go out there during Christmas time just to see if it’s any different out there. I’ve always went during the summer months and loved it. Hopefully we make it out there in the next couple of months.

It doesn’t seem like Thanksgiving should be here in a month and a half. I’m starting to pull out the old family recipe boxes to see what I feel like fixing for Thanksgiving dinner. I know I’ll be fixing green bean casserole. Everyone loves my green bean casserole and it’s become a sort of tradition for Thanksgiving dinner at my house. I don’t know what else we’ll be having. I’d like to fix green rice casserole as well. Green rice casserole has been a favorite of mine since I was a young child. It’s basically a couple jars of cheese whiz, some chopped onion, creme of chicken, broccoli and white rice all mixed together and baked. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving dinner.

I’ve been reading about lots of different weight loss supplements for the last few months and a new one I’m hearing about is Conjugated Linoleic Acid or CLA for short. I don’t really know all of the facts about it yet, but I know it contains a certain fatty acid that’s essential for your body to absorb vitamins and is supposed to be great for your diet. I’ve never really been that big on taking supplements or diet pills, but I’m really considering giving this a try.

For the past few years I’ve really been thinking about taking a cruise to the Bahamas. I am always seeing different cruises advertised on television and I always think about calling my travel agent to see what kind of package I can get. I guess I just assume that it will cost too much and I endup not even checking it out. I think I’m going to do it this year. I don’t even care about going during the summer, I’d rather go while its cooler here so I can be off someplace in perfect weather.

My girlfriend keeps trying to get me to let her get a dog. I told her when we moved in together that we can’t have pets if we’re going to live together and she had to agree to that before we moved in. Now she’s being all whiney and complaining that she wants a cat. I am pretty allergic to cats. I get itchy eyes and sneezy and it’s just no fun at all. Not to mention the hair all over everything you own, including your clothes. I just don’t want to deal with any pets. A friend of mine is always telling me where to buy cheap cat and dog supplies, but I really, really don’t want any pets.

We’ve all seen the commercials on television that talk about certain products being the best acne treatments and the new previously unknown cure for acne, but what actually works? I wish I knew. I’m in my late 20’s and I still suffer from acne. I don’t get acne breakouts all of the time, but when I do, they come on strong. I get them on my forehead, my cheeks, my chin and on my nose. I normally have a pretty clear complexion, but when the acne comes on I hate even looking at myself in the mirror. I wish I knew what worked.
