I was at a local electronics store yesterday and I saw some cool looking HDMI wall plates. I had previously never even heard of an HDMI wall plate, but I was talking to one of the guys who works there and he said that they are actually becoming very popular. I’m thinking about installing a few of them in my house. Quality video is very important to me, especially while watching movies.

On a recent day trip, we traveled to a nice town in Washington. There were many very expensive homes that looked like they could be considered mansions. The fiberglass columns were beautiful. They were a lot like pillars but much fancier. We talked to some of the owners, that were having an open house that weekend. They explained that they should never have to replace them for many years or maybe never. They should never rot, since they bought the more expensive ones. It was unbelievable how beautiful fiberglass columns made the homes look.

There are so many different decorative items that you can dress up your yard, porch and outside areas with. Since it is summertime, I planted a lot of flowers in my bordered flower garden and also hung flowers in hanging baskets. They really looked nice. I decided to hang wind chimes on a hook by my back door and also by my front door. They have such a nice soothing sound to them. The last outdoor item I purchased was some stepping stones to put in garden. My yard really looks so much nicer now.

After posting about a friend of mines home theater room, I decided to go out and buy myself a Bose home theater audio system. I could not be happier with the surround sound audio system. Yeah, it was a little pricey, but you can really feel the deep rumbling bass and the piercing highs. It feels like you’re actually in the middle of the action.

I’m thinking about replacing my bar faucets. I’ve been looking at the selection on Faucets.com and I think new faucets would really change the whole look of my bar sinks. They are also priced pretty reasonable. I can replace both faucets with something very nice for under $300 or I can go all out and spend twice that if I decide to. Either way, i really need to replace the faucets. I just thought Faucets.com had a very nice selection. Now all I have to do is get my girlfriend to let me buy them. That shouldn’t be too hard though. I’ll just buy her something too.
