There are so many people that really do need to go to one of the many drug rehabs that could help them. The problem though is that way too many of those people know that they need them but are too scared of how the addiction withdrawal will feel. They are so used to feeling good from the feel of the high. They don’t think of the cost it is causing their personal health and also money, so continue to just keep using. There are so many people strung out on drugs today. Many of them would like to get addiction treatment, but do not know how to get it. That is why they continue to do drugs. Some require people to have medical insurance to pay for them, which these people cannot afford. More drug addicts would get addiction treatment if they were aware of where they could get it and if it was offered more.

My girlfriend’s parents recently celebrated their 40^th wedding anniversary. They got married around age 19 and theyve been together and happy for all of these years. My girlfriend’s father got his wife a very nice Chopard watch for their anniversary. She couldn’t beleive it. I hope that one day my girlfriend and I will be able to celebrate our own 40^th anniversary.

A friend of mine has been looking at luxury homes for a while now. He and his girlfriend are starting their family and they really need a decent house. They live in an apartment right now and it’s really just to small to try and start a family in. He called me yesterday and told me that he thinks he’s found the perfect house. I’m going to go look at it with him on Monday.

My girlfriend’s brother is going to check himself into alcohol rehab this weekend. He finally made a choice to clean up his life and he really wants to try and be sober by Christmas. Last Christmas he ended up getting drunk and falling into the Christmas tree and nearly ruined everyones day. He doesn’t even remember doing it. Luckily we got it all on video to show him. I really wish him luck and hope he can clean his life up.

I recently went to my 10 year high school reunion. It was so surprising how many people have been in and out of drug rehab. Some of the people you would have never expected to ever do drugs or anything have been in and out of drug and alcohol rehab for years. Even one of my best friends from school had been to rehab once.

So Britney Spears recently lost custody of her kids to her ex-husband Kevin “K-Fed” Federline. Britney Spears was given plenty of opportunities to clean up her act, but instead of staying home a few nights a week with her kids, she had to go out clubbing and drinking, and driving without a license and who knows what else. If she were anyone else, a regular person and not a celebrity, she would have had her kids taken away a long time ago, and probably had some charges on her from child protective services. Hopefully Kevin Federline takes the responsibility more serious than Britney did.

If you think kids are the only one saying the darndest things, think again. I had a neighbor tell me about how much she wanted to get a Suzuki to relax in on evenings after work. Come to find out that she was talking about a Jacuzzi. Go figure!

While I was growing up I had several friends that got really heavily into drugs and alcohol. The majority of them never seeked any kind of help and they are doing nothing with their lives today. A while back I ran into an old friend of mine that was heavily into alcohol and I wouldnt even have recognized him if he hadent came up and got my attention. He looked 100% better and healthier than i remembered him. We started talking and he told me that he was now sober and he had just gotten out of alcohol rehab. It’s a shame that it took him so many years to finally get clean, but he is staying sober now and he really see’s the pain he caused everyone who cared about him for so long.
